About Me
My integrative approach combines person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic, solution-focused brief therapy and creative techniques to tailor it to you specifically.
My approach is built on trust, empathy, and respect. I provide a confidential and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. My role is to walk alongside you and offer a fresh perspective as you explore your feelings, clarify your thoughts and uncover the resources you already possess to overcome challenges.
My experience includes working with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and low self-esteem. I hold a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Level 5) and am a registered member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), adhering to their ethical framework. Alongside my counselling training, I draw on 25 years of pastoral experience, where I’ve had the privilege of walking with people through many of life’s challenges. I also work in private practice as a Senior Associate at a London-based counselling service.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with people, and if my house isn’t full with many around the dining table, I enjoy long walks in the countryside, dreaming about seeing a lot more of the world that I haven’t yet seen and being creative with wool.
